Award-Winning Filmmaker TYRONE TANN has been in involved in the entertainment industry for nearly over 20 years. He has worked professionally as an Actor, appearing in television shows such as; ER, CHINA BEACH, DIAGNOSIS MURDER, THE CASUALTIES OF LOVE: THE LONG ISLAND LOLITA STORY, and in motion pictures such as; SOCIAL MISFITS, STARSHIP TROOPERS, THE TRIGGER EFFECT, THE PROPHECY 3: THE ASCENT, as well as, worked “behind the camera” as a Director and or Producer on a number of Independent Feature Films such as; SOCIAL MISFITS, BUG NIGHT, YOUNG HOLLYWOOD, P.O.V THE CAMERA’S EYE, SAFE IN FICTION, THE PACT, JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, & LAVANDERIA.
TYRONE TANN gained recognition as a Filmmaker, by Breaking the Guinness World Records in 1998, producing the feature film BUG NIGHT, which made movie history, by being noted as having the longest film take. It was a movie that was filmed all in one continuous shot, all in one take, without any cuts, stops, or edits for 90 minutes straight.
In 2008, TYRONE TANN formed his own production company STAUROS ENTERTAINMENT,L.L.C., in where he would have the ability to create, produce, and involve himself in projects that he would hope make positive impacts on audiences of all ages. In 2011, he also became the founder & President of THE STAUROS ENTERTAINMENT INSPIRATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM AWARDS ( www.SeiifAwards.com ), in where its mission is to recognize, honor, and inspire other up and coming filmmakers from around the world for their achievement in movie making. Amongst the many different “hats” that he wears, TYRONE TANN also manages to find the time to host a one hour talk-Radio Show on the popular www.Indie100.com Radio Station, as well as, host and produces a “passion project” interview web-show, on his production company’s own web-channel ( www.StaurosEnterainment.TV ) ,
in where he interviews a variety of Entertainment Industry professionals; from Celebrity friends and or colleagues that give Inspirational advise and or “words of wisdom,” to others out there wanting to achieve their own goals & “dreams”.
